This is the Nanny Stil jug I talked about yesterday when I shared the pic of the Aimo Okkolin jug. The foot has the same shape (although this one is opened at the bottom). I guess that's why there's this confussion about Okkolin's design. Anyway, both of them lookamazing together ;)

No, no white inner in this one... haha, the Aimo Okkolin was too dark and this one has come out too bright :$ such an awful photographer I can be! :) This time I put a lit lightbulb behind the paper background... it worked fine with other items but I think it was too much in this one :)

Well... I just removed one from one of the lamps in the living room, cannot tell you which type it was lol (it probably was a 3 watts energy-saving bulb, and i guess a warm light one... ) - I should take a picture of the "set" cannot be trashier :) Then a little bit of photoshop is a great help - i work as a graphic designer so that's an easy thing for me - In any case, i must get new daylight bulbs and new lamps with difussers

Wow, thanks!!! :D It's great knowing someone appreciates them! (But, of course, as a designer my groupings have to be excellent! lol)

Well, I use three lamps... I'll try and explain how i do it: first of all I move the dining table and put it by the wall, the narrow part touching it; then i hang a roll of white paper sort of three or for meters long that covers the wall and the table leaving a soft "horizon line" and then put the two main lights (one at each side) facing the ceiling -as i have no difussers this is the way to have a more or less homogeneous and soft light around the piece, and finally the third light behind the background... this is great for clear glass, but I still have to work this "set" a lot... But then, of course, the photoshop part is important

Well, all of these pics will be used in my website... whenever i do it :) So far I am just taking the pics, which will do the whole thing easier when i finally make up my mind about making it! :)

You're not being nosey at all Scandi! :)

I already had one but the hosting became so expensive I had to remove it... and as the collection has grown so much since I last updated it (I was being too lazy to take the pictures of the new purchases, haha), I think it's better to design it from the begining... I started working on it not long ago and will be sometime before it's online. I will show all my glass as well as the little pottery, furniture, wood & plastic items i've got... and i'd love to include my partner's collection as well... That would make it a real museum online!

Yep! :) There's one more reasson for taking the pictures, which is creating a complete catalogue of the collection. I think we collectors should always do that... I mean, if i died tomorrow my family wouldn't even imagine what's all that glass i keep at home nor the value of it all... and if they sell it, they ought to do it for the right price :) haha

Thanks Bellin! As for what we talked before, this piece seems to be unattributed and the only way to know it's NS's is because there is a picture of her surrounded by her designs and this jug is one of them...
