In WWII the US Army and US Marines each had their own uniforms for combat. When the Korean war came around, the Marines still had their own stuff, but when it came to winer gear, it didn't matter. Here we have a typical US Army M-51 winter cap that has obviously been claimed by a Marine. These caps do turn up from time to time, but this was the first time I ever found one with the EGA attached....

HEY,MARINES have to stay warm in the winter too you know ! and i do not think it matters what kind of hat, cap, or any kind of cover you have on. as long as you put on the EGA, and be proud of it, i say, wear what feels good, dah......OOORAH.
