This doll is rather large and measures about 24" long and about 10" wide. All clothes are original on the doll and appears to be in good shape. The doll looks very old but I don't know anything about it. If anyone could help me with some information about the doll; age, period, value, region, maker, style, etc. This is a one of a kind piece of folk art history and I would love to learn more about it. Thank you for your help.
Hi your doll was a printed face and sometimes body was also included in kits that were made to make yourself . It came as a sewing kit with the face already printed on .
They date from 1898-1918 . Many companies in US made them "Art fabric Mills was one of them as well as Cocheco Mfg co, Selchow a & Righter .
They are very collectible and she is wonderful doll . Keept her dry as water will stain her and fabric gets dry and old and will tear easy . Love her !
