I have this wonderful wooden mantel clock and I don't know anything about it. It has a wonderful geometric, colorful design on the glass.

The clock is about 12" Tall and about 8" wide. I wasn't able to see any makers mark on the inside of the clock and the dial appears to be chipping and I am not sure if this common with these clocks.

Any information about this clock would be greatly appreciated. Information I am looking to learn about it; maker, age, period, type of wood, style, value, etc. Thank you very much for your help.

I think this is a small 1870's shelf clock made by Forestville or something like that. Very cute!
