This is a 1920's era photo frame. As the text says "made in the Art Shops of The U. Mfg. of N. Y." They have a kind of wonky corporate symbol but what did they know in those days? I guess the U. stand for United or some such thing.
Interesting the twirling logs symbols (not swastica's) this was a early native american symbol of good luck. This frame is probably closer to Craftsmen than Art Deco.
That's interesting. I don't know the history or age so I was guessing it was about the same as the other. It has a sort of cornucopia shaped motif running around the edge that may be hard to discern in the photo.
