We traded for this fan from a lady, and now it's on my list of restoration projects. The cage needs straightened and tacked together in a couple of places, the blades need polished, and all the green could stand to be repainted. I might just clean it up and give it a shine just to see if that goes far enough... who knows, I might give it a full restoration. The good news is that it runs pretty well and the "Zero" emblem on the cage is in good shape.

Sweet, you'll like doing the restoration on this ay. It doesn't take a lot of knowledge to get it done cause I did mine. LOL, Although it doesn't look like it needs that much work. Very cool fan to own.

Yours is in much better condition than mine was.

Thanks! I'm going to dig around and see what I can find out about it first. It looks like mine is different from yours in that the red emblem is different. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it's because yours is older, but I dunno LOL. Haven't done a restoration on one of these on my own, so I'm interested to see what happens!

I would say the exact same time period ay. I think they made many different color plates on these. The cage is pretty easy to bend back into position, just take it very slowly so the joints don't snap into. If you take the cage off, it will be easier to manage.

Ahhh, sorry didn't notice before that yours has the switch in back and mine doesn't.
That being said, yours may be a bit newer after all.
