Can anyone tell me if the bottles I have are authentic? I am especially interested to know if the Hutchinson bottle and the other bottle with a label are authentic? Kindly email me with any information you might be able to offer. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! good_dom@hotmail.com.

Although the bottles look very cool with the labels on them, sadly they are not authentic to the bottles. For every 1000 bottles out there with a label such as this there are only probably one or two that are actually authentic. It is generally thought that the hutch bottle did not have a label, since it was in use for such a short time before the turn of the century. Anyway the label you show is much later than the date of the hutch. Most straight sided bottle labels came off in the ice and water mixture that they sat in before being bought by the consumer. Most bottle labels have been applied by collectors in the past 30 years. The label certainly enhances a bottle's presentation, but it should not be represented as original to the bottle. They are still nice though!

The cigar "stopper" is an interesting touch!
