Ihagee-Dresden Exakta 66 "post-war" SLR designed and built to compete with the Hasselblads. Only about 2500 were ever produced. Came with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 80mm f2.8 lens. One of the most collectible medium format cameras out there!

I bought it from the original owner's son. He even had the manual and original Exakta customs papers!

Let me know if you have any more information about these cameras.

    Thanks

I don't usually like to believe much of the info from Camerapedia but it does give a point of reference for further investigating. You may already have this info available to you in greater detail seeing as you have the manual. Beautiful camera and yes they are very desirable in the collecting community.

Thanks Henry. I would keep it, but I want something that I can use without worry. Maybe a Hassy or Rollei.
