Here's a 22" Porcelain Scootles / Kewpie doll that I found in a Thrift shop just last week and just in time for Christmas, I bought it for my wife that has a rather large collection. It brought tears to her eyes when she opened it, some thing a diamond ring could not do.
That's a good husband that finds the perfect gift ! It is darling but more important how it made your wife feel :-) Love doll and story

Just a note to "Stoney" who features a 22" Kewpie doll that he thinks is a Scootles. As a 22+ year Kewpie and Rose O'Neill collector I can safely say that it is not a Scootles doll, but a Cameo doll. Can be checked by looking on the back of the doll's neck or back, and it will say Cameo or Jesco/Cameo.
I have 5 such dolls in my collection.
