I have a seth thomas clock but it is dated 4711 and isn't an alarm clock. Is htis just one made a month earlier.

Yes, I believe yours was made one month earlier.

I just realized that mine is not an alarm clock either, so I will re-label it.

what does the red dot on the six mean I noticed some have it an some do not?
    4. bigben bigben, 14 years ago
The red dot is the power outage indicator. After starting and setting the clock, you set the indicator to white (by turning the clock upside down in some models, in others, pulling out the set knob resets the indicator). Then, if the electricity fails, the indicator turns red, telling you that the clock may need to be reset to the correct time.

How much is a Baxter-2E E009-007 Seth Thomas clock worth?

What does the E009-007 mean on back of clock?
