I have an item that I cannot identify. It appears to be wrought iron with gold paint and has an angel on top. It is approximately 7 inches by 4 inches, and about 6.5 inches in height. On either side is a 1-and-a-quarter-inch square glass holder and each one has a wrought iron lid. I am thinking it could be an ink well or for salt and pepper. I need some help in identifying it as I cannot find anything like it online.

The glass inserts are interesting too!
A pic or two of them might help in identifying it.
...... with some others of the underside of the 'ink well".

      Nice item! Thanks for sharing!
