A story goes with this mural that I painted on a wall in my shop. The gate isn't part of the painting,it is real, and some what old . My wife walked through it to get on the School bus starting from the six grade through High School. 1951-1958 At Lakeview,Oregon It is installed to open away from the picture.

Very cool, Les, I didn't know you were an artist. You learn something new every day. Oregon Ducks colors too.

      Go Ducks!

The painting is just a simple ( house paint with too big of a brush ) ilustration to display the gate. The gate is much older than 1951.

This is so cute and a very unique way to preserve a memory!

I love it, when there is a personal story that goes along with the reason you have any old "treasure". I'm not implying that your wife is old, just the gate! :-)
