4 dinning chairs

These Four dinning chairs, they are very heavy! made of solid wood, they seem to have that medievil look about them but I dont know anything about them, Iv since made new cushions for them using black vinel with studs that go around the edge of the insert. I havent put any photos of my handy work because it may only confuse someone trying to figure out the era of these chairs?
