Models are very detailed. My interest has been with the automobile industry and it's vehicles most of my life time.
Interests in Railroads too.
Interested fans, of the proper age will remember Preston Tucker's plight to try to build a brand new post WWII automobile...rear engine drive. The big 3 auto companies in various ways seemed to mount resistance to prevent him from his success.
It's a long story, but just 51 preproduction vehicles were built. Some still exist. I have seen eight of them in reality. Most remaining are in museums. Have seen values put on some of them up to a half million dollars. Generally, one is available to see at the Auburn, In. museum. They do move them around to different museums.
