The BROKSØ range was designed by Jacob Bang in 1938. It obviously is an "answer" to Aino Aalto's famous design for Karhula/Iittala in 1932.
In the image there's the cruet in clear glass, the jugin blue and the creamer and sugar bowl set in green.
I have quite a a lot of this - I can't help buying it as I find it quite charming, even though it was just meant for daily use! The coloured type (especially the green) is quite popular and some items are relatively common (such as bowls and dishes), whereas others (such as drinking glasses) you hardly ever come across.
PS. There is also some American Depression glass (Moderntone, 1934-1942) which looks very much like this - I have four little Moderntone custard cups in blue. Apparently this kind of design was fashionable in many places at the time!
Thanks Jensen. I had never heard of it. As I can read online Moderntone was made by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 to 1942.
I think both designs were inspired by Aino Aalto's "Bölgeblick" design from 1932.
