" Hoch edles nass, aus kuhlem fass", google-translate says means: NOBLE HIGH WET FROM KUHLE FASS -- another source translates it as loosely meaning: celebrate the wonderful drink, taken from the cooling barrel.

ORIGINAL KING mark is from the KING WORKS company, in Germany --

      About King-Werk:
Founded in 1949, King-Werk is a family-owned business that practices the centuries old craft of stein making. Located in Germany's Western Forest, many King-Werk steins are based on antique designs. In the early 1500s, Germany established laws requiring that all food and beverage containers be covered to protect their contents, in reaction to several fly invasions and the bubonic plague. In response, easy-open "steinkrugs" were created with the lid, hinge and thumb lift combined. Created by skilled craftsman, you can carry on a European tradition with your own artful King-Werk stein.

I have a large bowl with lid and four mugs. The large piece has handles on each side made from a stem of grapes with grapes and leaves encircling the top, just under the lid. On the bottom it says "Western Germany" in small print and indented in the pottery it says "Original King 4L".
It has 6 circles on the large piece and each mug has 4 circles (each with picture and name in German) The background for all pictures is navy blue. I am wondering what this is called and approximately how old it is.
If you can answer these questions please give me an email back. Thank you
