This small perfume was probably made in the late 19th century, but was painted with a scene that is evocative of the 18th century.
There is paint loss to the red pants, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
The bottom is marked "CFH"-- from what I have read a Limoges mark from 1868- 1872.
Any other information on this is appreciated.
Scott
Thanks.
This is not milk glass it is porcelain.
Scott
Thanks again-- I double checked on the markings and found the "CFH" mark IDd to Charles Field Haviland from 1868- 1876.
I'll give the porcelain folks a chance to weigh in on this as well.
Thanks again,
Scott
No-- it reads "C F H".
If you click on the images it will pull up a separate image that can then be enlarged with an additional click.
The last image will show that it is porcelain and the initials.
