I Didn't know what this plate was for, now i see possibly Celery, it has a French Logo on back and a signature name of B.G.D. 195. Also the Captian's wife, who left everything she bought in her life here at our home, was in France a lot after her husband died, We have postcards from her in Paris 1900-1910 sent here to her sister. They were very close, she died here and was waked here in our house 1914
Just found out this is early Limoge Celery dish made by William G. & Co in France around 1900.
Beautiful hand painted porcelain!
