I REMEMBER THIS FROM WHEN I WAS A KID. THE TABS ALWAYS SEEMED TO BREAK OFF FIRST TIME. I CAN'T DETERMINE THE AGE.

I have some of these I got as a grade-school kid in the late 50s ~ early 60s.
