Here we have a Bell Telephone Attendance Award for 16 years. The badge is sterling silver and 1 3/16 inches in diameter. I wonder what is meant by the word “Attendance”? Could it mean no sick days or absences? Punctuality, or just years service? Any one know for sure?

Thanks tt, any idea as to what they meant with the word attendance?

      3 years late.

Yes, this was for perfect attendance, i.e. no sick leave used. They also awarded years of service separately with gifts and/or pins.
