      Hi,

Nice looking clock. It appears that you have a New Haven "Drop Octagon" circa around 1920.

Clocks very similar to yours seem to be selling recently for somewhere between $80 and $175 on eBay.

      Definitely a "Keeper"...

      Enjoy!

I think it could have been made in about 1890. Nice!

Don't believe everything you hear about this clock I have one of the same kind and I sold my clock for 800 hundred dollars take your time and remember that you can only get what someone is willing to pay 80 dollars that is ridiculous

Let's see...this posting is about 9 years old now. Let me check listings for a New Haven Short Drop Octagon. Here's a link to auction results for this kind of clock.
The highest price paid was $250. The lowest price was $50.

Someone would have to be a fool to pay $800, but I suppose anything is possible.
