    I am still working at getting this item identified. It appears to be wrought iron with gold paint and has an angel on top. It is approximately 7 inches by 4 inches, and about 6.5 inches in height. On either side is a 1-and-a-quarter-inch square glass holder and each one has a wrought iron lid. I am thinking it could be an ink well or for salt and pepper. I need some help in identifying it as I cannot find anything like it online. Notice the two small glass inserts differ in the bottom of them; one has a stem of glass and one does not. I am not sure why these differ.

    I have added more detailed photos with this posting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
