Kralik drape vases were created with a simple spiral rod decor that was then pulled up using a wooden tool or form. The pattern that you see shows corresponding waves repeating throughout the vessel. Sometimes the rods were cased with a different color adding a certain depth to the rods; Example 1 & 2. The drape pattern appears on clear, clam broth, tango and confetti base glass

This technique was also used by other glass companies in in Europe- so it can be a bit confusing telling Kralik from other producers. The key is look for an oval "Czechoslovakia" signature on the base- also know your shapes and colors and you can get the glass cheaper (sleepers).

As always... any cool images are welcome or if you need an identification I am ready to tell you what I think.

Jericho, I must ask again, can you show photos of your examples of Provenance Marks, the only Kralik Signature I have ever seen has been on acid etched Cameo pieces.
I have never seen an Oval "Czechoslovakia" Mark on a Kralik piece. Do you mean Arched or Curved ?

yes sorry, it is the arched letters CZECHOSLOVAKIA acid stamp. i will try to do a shape study and shoe the consistency of patterns with marks. thank you
