I would like to learn more about my sewing machine. Please help, I bought it at a antique thrift store. Thought it was a great find. My research online has led me know where. I would like to know the year it was made and whether or not I could make a few extra bucks off it. Please help if you can. Thank you

It won't make much money for you, but if you research 'National" sewing machines you may get further in your hunt for information. These machines are relatively common and were sold under hundreds of different names. Research ebay to see what they sell for.

This sewing machine looks just like the one I have that was my Grandmothers. Mine is from 1937 or 1938. I am trying to decide how to paint it, etc... and use it in my living room. Might as well enjoy it, rather than just store it in the basement.
