Is it a teapot without a top? A pitcher, but how would you use the handle on the same side as the spout? I picked it up yesterday at a thrift store for $3.50. Thought it look interesting and very old. It's earthenware that is glazed on the top and inside. There are Asian characters/writing on the end of the handle.
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe a Kendi ceramic pot? I have one that I have been researching also. Good Luck! :)
it is a traditional japanese kyusu tea pot i think
