This was my grandmother's clock when she was a teenager in the 1930s. I would like some more information about it if possible.

Never heard of "Nuart" or "Nu Art" clocks before. There was an online discussion in Jan of 2008 on the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors website. At that time, no one seemed to have heard anything about them either. If you go to Savage and Polites Antique Clock Identification and Price Guide you can pull up a picture of one that they have in their online inventory: http://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/pages/clock6482.php. They don't give you much free information but you can see a different model from this Manufacturer. It's a subscription service so if you want more information, you'll have to pay them. If you're an eBay member you can set up an automated search. Perhaps a Seller will list one in the future. That's all I can find on it. Anyone else? Good luck and enjoy your collection.

A couple of nice catches Manikin. Cronkm you might want to try contacting the Sellers to see if they have any provenance information on their clocks. If that turns out to be a dead end as I mentioned earlier, you can set up an automatic search in eBay to find future listings and contact those Sellers as well. If you agree that the style is Art Deco, that would suggest that your clock was made sometime during the 20's or 30's. Good luck!
