    The first 2 I think or murano paper weight/bookends and have leaves attached to them they are very pretty, the next one is a figurine, I have three differnet ones, and they are about 5-6 inches tall and are not made of glass or ceramic. They are very elegant looking. The last one states on the bottom Shafer 24 K Gold. It is trimmed in 24 K gold and then the bottom, feet, are also gold. Would love to research these items but don't know where to look.

      So now I understand. The apple and the pear are a 'pair'.
      The ground surfaces are for the book edges and together they are the book-ends.
      Seguso sommerso, Flavio Poli?
