US patches. I think most of these are quite common, except for the "USA Canada" patch. I like the variations on the sword theme patches - the only one I have identified is the bottom right (Allied Expeditionary Forces HQ)

I'd love to have the USA/Canada patch. That's for the First Special Services Force, sometimes called the Devil's brigade, a WWII unit of both American and Canadian Soldiers that would be the forerunner of the US Special Forces.

Top to bottom, left to right:

Photo 1- Army Security Exchange; Engineer Command, Vietnam; 1st Aviation Brigade; US Army, Vietnam (USARV); 1st Signal Brigade; Supreme Headquarters Army Expeditionary Forces (SHAEF).

Photo 2- 104th Division; 29th Infantry Division; US Army Air Force; 102nd Division (this should be turned sideways so it looks like a Z sitting on a rocker); 8th Army (should be tilted like an X); Army Service Forces; 19th Corps; 106th Division; Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC)( Stripes should be up and down, blue stripe left).
Photo 3: Naval Amphibious Forces; 1st Special Service Forces; Air Force Communication Specialist (It’s upside-down); 3rd Infantry Division and below it is 5th Corps; prachutist wings (air force issue) and below it 99th Division; 1st Infantry Division; 2nd Infantry Division.

Wow, thank you for the identification, Chrisnp!

I will change my description - I didn't know that some of these are from the Vietnam era.

By the way, have you seen my posting for the USM-1 pin?

      Thanks again for your help!

      Great patches.

Many of these WW2 era are reproduced-- especially the 1st SSF. The backs of patches are very helpful in determining age.

      Thanks for sharing,

      Scott
