I have one that is black and white and a cat signature etched Sandee on the back. It reminds me of a Lea Stein (but I don't think it is). One just sold on ebay listed as Hobe here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-UNUSUAL-HOBE-HUGE-LION-FACE-NECKLACE-/270631821243?pt=Vintage_Costume_Jewelry&hash=item3f02e9dfbb#ht_500wt_811 There is currently one also for sale on ebay. I think it is collectibe and would not take apart. Mine is a quality piece and when I bought it at a thrifts shop in came in a Saks Fifth Avenue Box. I did find one like your in one of my research books, but I loaned them out and do not have them now. When I get them back I will try and look it up for you. Good Luck
Opps, I spelled collectible wrong.
Thank you Tell me more ..
I found a necklace similar to yours in Unsigned Beauties of costume jewelry by Marcia Sparkles Brown on page 179. If you want email me at donnamsalmon@hotmail.com and I will scan the picture for you
Hello, I don't know if you found out the information you were looking for. If not well read on...
LS stands for "Lee Sands", this necklace is know as Lion Inlay Pendant with Tiger's-eye, 19"Length, Bead Necklace. That sells on QVC. Here's a link.........
