I got these at an auction 20 years ago and just ran across them lately. I cannot find anything about them except the date, 1990 on the package. They seem to be tarnishing but I'm not sure if they are pure silver or not.
If they were silver they would be marked accordingly. I suspect you have medallions that were used to entice customers. I have a bunch of them from gas stations and old railroads and even one from a playboy club. They aren't worth a bundle but fun to collect.
any value???
Ace had an outside company manufacture the coins and yes they are 99.9% silver.
Dan Kamykowski
kamyski6 International law requires all silver to be so marked with an assay mark. If these are 99.9 why aren't they marked?
Fhrjr2 we were only given half the information
on the other side of the six coins
they’re marked one Troy oz .999 pure silver
Instead of asking the question he only
had to look at the other side
That’s what made it confusing
instead of a obverse +reverse
I doubled checked the few coins I have but all state . 999+ fine silver.
