This is a newly found aluminium advertising thimble for Australia - it is for "The Grosvenor Adelaide" - an hotel which opened in 1930. Hotels don't feature often as adverts on thimbles anywhere in the world. The hotel still exists now known as the Mercure Grosvenor

Brings back a lot memories,back in the day my Mother spend her evenings daring socks,knitting and crocheting while listening to the radio.
