This stove says PATENTED 1852 VM , I would like to find out a little history on it, if any . I purchased it off Craigslist a couple years ago for $100 . I have a set of propane logs in it and it had a set of gas logs to begin with when purchased. There is also a BAKE KING "KING OF BAKEWARE" panel on the back where ,it looks like a pipe may have run out. The pipe hole is oblong in shape and is about 17" i believe, in length . The smaller stamp says "1850-3". Any information would be appreciated.

I am pleased you aren't trying to burn wood in that. You are probably better off looking at it and enjoying it than researching it.

oh, I found info already . I am very happy with what i did find. It is worth far more than the $100 I paid for it.

      Hi Dmouse8,
Can you please share what you found out about your fireplace? We just acquired one that is a twin to yours but can't find any info about it. Thanks so much!
