1920 - ish Cleveland Metal Products kerosene jar. These were used to fill old kerosene heaters and lamps, a nice compliment to my oil lamp collection.

Thanks for the love packrat, Lostinspace and officialfuel. Next step is to clean it out. If anyone has suggestions on cleaning the cloudy residue I would appreciate it. I was going to try mineral spirits.

I think your kero jar was part of a cook stove. When you turned it upside down on the end of the stove it pressed the valve on the end of the jar and keep kerosene feeding into the stove.
