Trying to find a value on this sign. It was in the attic of a Texaco that I once operated in Fresno, CA. I believe that it is from about 1965 or earlier. It measures about 16 1/4 X 18 1/4 ....It has same ad painted on both sides and was designed to hang from a pole I think. Is this a rare piece? What is the retail value? It is in very good condition.

    Thanks

in the 1997 "Texaco Collectors Guide" on page 62 they show a "version" of your sign, but dont have the values, one sign says"Texaco driving area#12", so there probably were many "areas" . It says "Texaco advertised the practice with signs like these displayed on pump islands or pump tops. The signs in the picture say they came from the Richard Evans collection. Mike

Thanks for the information Mike.....I do believe that it was a pump topper by the way it is designed.
