I have three photographs in this series of images depicting the somber funeral and honors for a WW1 veteran who died in service "Overseas".

The visible grave marker reads "Holmes, Co F 148 N.Y. INF, Oversea, 1889- 1918".

The pallbearers are a mix-- three US Navy sailors, two US Army soldiers and one civilian.

I haven't been able to track down the soldier as of yet.

Reproduction of this image in any form is prohibited.
