This is the third photograph in a series of images that show the funeral of a WW1 veteran who died overseas.
This image shows the Honor Guard for the funeral along with the other WW1 veterans from the same town.
Several patches are visible on the veterans. Standing 5th from the right (as viewed) is a soldier with the 78th Division "Lightning" patch along with three clasps on his Victory Medal showing he served in St. Mihiel, Meuse- Argonne and Lorraine.
Third from the left (kneeling) is a soldier with the 29th Division patch "Blue and Gray" patch.
Several of these same men can be seen in the photographs of the actual funeral services.
Reproduction of this image in any form is prohibited.
