Can anyone help me identify this lamp or what timer era it may be from? I have no idea of any information on it. In a total darkness (no pun intended!) It has a sticker on it that says "fruit of the loom, providence RI.

I got my butt whipped for breaking one just like that. My mother had two of them brand new. She got them at the Montgomery Wards store in Albany, NY. We lived in Vermont so a trip to the big city was an important event. I would say it was around 1954 or 1956, might have been as late as 1958 but I think earlier. We were a bit remote and had just moved to a place with electricity and an honest to God, inside flush toilet.

I have two lamps similar to this one. My mom (deceased) had them in her bedroom in 1960. Mine are blue, white, and gold with flowers in circle near top. I will upload pics when I can.
