This is for all those people who say, "why didn't anyone smile back then". this whole family never stopped smiling, laughing, & giggling. They went through some hard & difficult times. My Grandmother is in the back row with ribbon in her hair, she would start to giggle the moment you started to tell a funny story. When they all got together & you added a little whiskey it would be non stop laughing. My Great Grandparents were both immigrants from Ireland
Thanks Scandi

She has a great smile!
It was only a week ago that my Mother, who turns 85 in 3 weeks, saw this photo for the first time. She had never seen a picture of her mother as a teenager, or of all her Aunts & Uncles either. She was so happy when I gave her a copy of this photo.
Thanks Mani & cwork for the love & comments.

Thanks for the love Bazel, it is a joyous picture & I think "Patsy" is smiling under that great "stache"!
I can't stop smiling when I look at them. Super.
It's amazing that the demeanor of a family captured in a photo 90 years ago can still affect people in a positive way!
I'm glad it makes you smile Bazel.
Since this photo came to light a year ago I have made dozens of copies to share with the descendants of this group, as it is the only picture of the group from that time period.
What a treasure to have, and share. Wish I knew them.
Thanks Bazel, that means a lot to me!
Glad to hear that. I think everyone seeing this family will agree.
