My Great Grandad, Warwick Slavin was shot by his Brother in law in the late 1800's, over a dispute over a horse. This caused him to be wheelchair bound. He lived in Greenbank West Virgina. He passed the time by whittling. I had heard stories of the little baskets he would carve out of peach seeds, but never saw one, until a relative gave me hers a while back. My Mom said they were used for necklace's.

Thank you toolate2. Warick most likely never dreamed anyone would talk about his peach seed 100 years later.
