I have this clock, the works of the clock in side has Ansonia Clock Co. Ney York dated June 18, 1882. On the back and side of the clock it is stamped Topeka. Is this a Ansonia Clock ? I have looked at the Ansonia web sites but I can not find a clock look the same as the one I have.
Any information would be helpful.

Ansonia "Royal Bonn." I think Ansonia's line of porcelain clocks have come to be know as Royal Bonn kinda generically no matter who made the case. You do see Topeka on these from time to time...
I think that the model is named "Topeka" but I'm not absolutely certain. A clock just like it sold at a New York auction in 2008 for $75. It was listed as a "Topeka" but that by itself is not definitive.

I've bought and sold a couple of Ansonia Porcelain clocks so I've spent some time researching them. Here's what I've found out: Ansonia used a number of porcelain manufacturers to make their porcelain clock cases. Royal Bonn, is the most highly valued of these Porcelain cases and collectors will usually pay a premium for them. If you want to buy (or sell) a Royal Bonn, make sure that it is otherwise you might pay too much, or your Buyer is going to be unhappy if you try to sell it as a Royal Bonn and it isn't. Royal Bonn Porcelain is usually, but not always, marked on the back of the case in red with the Royal Bonn Monogram. There were several different monograms used and I've included the url to a useful reference website if you ever need to verify a Royal Bonn case. If it doesn't have Royal Bonn spelled out on the back, one of these monograms may be imprinted elsewhere on the case. Not necessarily in ink. Perhaps on the bottom or even inside. http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/northrhine/poppelsdorf_2/00.php. Regardless of who fired the case, your clock looks very nice and well cared for. I don't see any cracks or chips in your photos. The paper dial is pretty aged as one would have to expect. It also looks like the glass dial cover may have been replaced at one time or another. Also, the movement looks pretty clean and in good shape.
