I have had this piece for some time now and I would like to know a little more about it, specifically the time period and maker, and of course the value.
~Many Thanks to those that can help

Thank you Dean, you comment is extremely helpful. Would you happen to know the time/era of this piece?
The mark was a later mark, I think used by the "Wittenberger Steingutfabrik". This firm was founded in 1887 in the Prussian town of Wittenberg an der Elbe (Saxony-Anhalt).
Wittenberg or Lutherstadt-Wittenberg is forever famous as the place where on October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on the door of the Castle Church.
It seems they specialized in fine stoneware.
To date the piece we see a mark that was used from 1887 to 1914.
(In 1914 it became the "Steingutfabrik Union GmbH".
There is no stamp of "Germany", so that could put it before 1904 when that was added. So 1887 to 1904 is the guess based on the marks.
