I am trying to find out if this is a valuable antique or what exactly it is. I obtained it from a garage sale from an antique collector several years ago. It is a pitcher or creamer that has raised scene of a group of colonial dressed people at a tavern and what appears to be the Ride of Paul Revere. I thought it was cool because I love American history. It is a yellow with brown glazed pitcher or creamer. There are no markings or logos of any kind on the outside or inside. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
it's a hobby ceramic item. I have the same pitcher that I made back in the early 1970s. Only I colored it in a darker green. It's maybe in a box in the attic somewhere as I haven't seen it in years.
Sorry, I can't see that not being marked could have anything to do with determining age, as most hobby ceramics are not marked in any way. The glaze style is easily duplicated in hobby ceramics. The images here seem to indicate all the attributes of a hobby ceramic piece to me. Of course holding and examining any piece is the best way to tell.
