In my spare time I like to restore old things like furniture, vintage kitchen appliances, etc.
I would like to share this rather scarce three legged cast iron typewriter stand. Remember typewriters?
It was kind of rough when I got it. I made a new top, sanded down and repainted the base, cleaned and lubricated the mechanisms and moved the manufacturers nameplate from the underneath side to the top, for effect.
After I stained the top English Chestnut, I gave it a good conditioning with Howard Feed-N-Wax, Beeswax & Orange Oil.
enjoy
Beautiful! Great job.

Thank you very much Samovar88 & Lostinspace
I have one just like it, was never sure of it's exact purpose. Works great holding my antique slot machine.
thank you very much rocker-sd,
Yes, it is a typewriter stand, my old top still has the marks where the typewriter sat. I could see where it could have many uses. I really like the industrial look of them.
Thank you very much Deanteaks & scottvez, sorry for the late response, I guess this one got by me.
