Yes, I have these gorgoues 4 little saucers - they are 15 cm across.. two have a deeper area to rest a teacup, and the other two are flat on the saucer surface. There are no markings on the bottom. I have posted the pictures above. They are similar, and both have that H H pattern around the inside rim. Thank you for your assistance. Laura Blalock laurablalock@yahoo.com
There are not flow blue.
The pattern is called Blue Willow, they are very common especially ones like yours (not as old). Is there a mark on the bottom? They were made by a lot of manufacturers over a long period of time, and are still made today. There is a Willow Collectors group http://www.willowcollectors.org/ .
Sorry, typo - should have been "They are not flow blue". With flow blue, the blue glaze is blurred or "flowed" during the firing process. Do a Google image search for flow blue and you will see what it looks like.
Thank you for your assistance.. I see by going to your recommended
site they are indeed Blue Willow. I'll try to find out how old... the cups (on other pix) are definitely older than the saucers. the saucers have no markings. Thanks for your assistance. Laura
