Hello. Not sure what I have here. A friend says it is a Hoge pressed steel, but we are unable to find out anymore information then that. Any ideas? Thanks Todd

Interesting theory; never thought of that. Wondering if there is a book or listing of all the Hoge pressed steel cars made in the past? All I have seen is the Fire Chief Car. Thanks Todd
It appears that your friend is correct in identifying your car as being made by Hoge. The following link is for the Fire Chief version which had a siren as well as electric headlights. Really nice toy.

Also came across this posting for a Hoge catalog, hope it helps in your search.

Great! I will check the links out. Thanks for all the help. Todd
Very cool! You usually see the fire chief version, so this is interesting. Now you just have to find some old light bulbs!

Yes, it is an unusual version with the United on the side. Still looking for more clues.
