Found at local thrift store,was hoping someone could tell me maker,or what type of glass this is..ANY info would be helpful.
8" tall,looks like an owl at top of each foot..Thanks..

Well,from everything i see,,MOST seem to think Piasa Bird pattern is from Sowerby Glass,if they say a maker at all..Sounds good to me>>>Thanks again!
Pattern is most likely not English in origin, as the Piasa Bird (which this figure is undoubtedly is meant to represent) is a Native American legend. The edges of this pattern invariably have a thin ring of non-opalescent glass, which is not typical for English opalescent glass, and I must say I find this characteristic on a lot of opalescent glass by Jefferson.
Thanks Paula..I do see quite a few attributed to Jefferson also..
