Found this in an attic. Not sure how old it is or what it's worth. It's in very good condition and when I opened the back, there was hardy a bit of dust. I wound it up and it works like a charm. It has a bell and an hourly chime. I don't really collect them, this just caught my eye. Any input appreciated.
Thanks,
Tommy
A very nicely patterned Ingraham Mantel Clock!
I can't find an exact match in my references but it definitely has an Ingraham Clock Movement, Dial, Bezel and hands so I think it is safe to say it is an unlisted Ingraham Wood Mantel clock finished in black enamel and simulated red marble. The closest model I could find in my references is the Ingraham "Pekin" which was made between 1913 and 1923. It's mostly black enamel and doesn't have the lion head side ornaments but it is a fairly close match to your clock's case shape and design. A restored/serviced "Pekin" model sold Christmas Day on eBay (listed under item number 150722023507) for $127.50. I would guess that your clock would be somewhere in that neighborhood. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. Perhaps someone else has seen one of these?
What a Beautiful Victorian Piece of Art! I’ve been looking for an Affordable Antique Ingraham Clock or Seth Thomas in an Antique Shop for many years! Hesitating to buy one online...
