Consignment shopping today and picked up this rhinestone dragon brooch. I'm not familiar with the mark on the back - FM?- it's not a mark I've seen before. Can anyone tell me what the FM stands for? Any other information on this brooch is appreciated. Thanks.
HI- Guess what you might be in luck. I just purchased a multi strand of Faux pearls and they were marked 1988FM. FM stands for Franklin Mint. some of his stuff has dates and some do not. (most just have FM on it)
I don't know alot about the company- as I am still researching it, but these specific pearls that I bought are valued at about $150-$200. Franklin Mint seemed to have done a variety of things from pearls to pewter/costume jewelry and other things. Google Franklin Mint and see if your pin matches his other jewelry. GOOD LUCK
Thanks vintageangel. I think you're right - It is a brooch by The Franklin Mint. I found another like it by FM. No information regarding the value but I'm making progress. Thanks again.
