I picked this tea cup up at a garage sale. I just loved the colors and details. I have no idea about the history of this piece. I would love any information on this tea cup. It has an R stamped on the bottom. Thanks! Jen

The tea cup and saucer dates to 1812-1835. Both the tea cup and saucer have the manufacturer stamp of the R with the sunburst. The set was made by the S. & J. Rathbone firm of Tunstall, Staffordshire. I found this information online after much searching. :)
