This is an Fenton Peacock and Grape with Opal Edges, which are not often seen in carnival! As you can see in the Fourth Picture the Collar of this bowl will glow under a UV (Black Light) Very Nicely!
    Best Regards

I believe I have this same bowl which I inherited from my aunt. Can you tell me what you think its estimated value would be?

Hello Dolores, well with all Carnival Glass, the Condition and Irradiance ((Colors)) is what really set the price. Personally, if I was to put this bowl up for sale in my EBay Store, I would set it at $450.00 or best off and would take nothing less then $400.00, but this one also has Top Notch Quality Irradiance
I would have to see pictures of the bowl to see the quality of it.

      Send me Pics @ Shawnl86@hotmail.com

Nice bowl, in Finland we call this kind of glass "myrkkylasi" = poisonglass.
There is nothing poison except how they are made in early 1900. In factory they spray thing layer of metaloxide these items before putting in owen, soon they found that oxides fumes are poisoness for people and the environment.
In Finland Riihimäki glassworks made these(carnival glass)a lot for export all round a world.

A little late but, Thanks Joe! That is very cool... sad that the early glass workers had to deal with that but their works are well preserved and still treasured by many. And Thanks Trey! :)
